Born in Hanover, NH, to parents in the medical profession, Chris spent much of his youth in the mountains of New England. With a father who loved to ski the family was frequently on the slopes together. The love of skiing and for the mountains of Vermont was with Chris at an early age and has continued throughout his life. 

From Hanover, the family relocated to West Springfield, MA.  Chris grew up in a large family who all enjoyed sports, mainly soccer, golf and skiing.  After graduating from Dartmouth, Chris spent 15 years in Simsbury, CT. while maintaining a ski habit in Vermont most winters. In 2002 Chris transitioned full time from corporate America to Vermont.

Chris is a Level III Certified Ski Instructor for the Professional Ski Instructors of America and a Supervisor of the SYNERGY program at Stratton. 
 
Living at Cobb Brook Farm in Windham, VT Chris divides his time between working as a financial adviser and a real estate professional. He is the principal of Cummings Financial Services, LLC whose financial advisers help individuals, families, retirees and business owners safeguard their retirement. His understanding of finances and real estate make a great combination for investors in commercial properties.

Chris’ hobbies include building stone walls, helping renovate and maintain the farm, playing golf and spending as much time as possible with family. Chris’ daughters live in MA. and FL.
