Originally from Simsbury, CT, Ashley spent her summers and winters at Cobb Brook Farm in Windham, VT.  When she had time off from school or crewing for the Simsbury High School rowing team, she was landscaping in Southern VT or working at Stratton Mountain for the Junior Ski School.  Ashley attended the University of Connecticut, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, and opened a landscaping business in Simsbury, CT. 

After college she worked in banking for several years at Santander Bank in New Bedford, MA, and from there moved to Charlotte, NC where she worked in logistics and freight management helping to improve business processes for various departments at Expeditors Intl.  After many years in the corporate sector, she traded in her high heels and suits for a more laid-back family-owned business in Concord, NC, working as an executive assistant to the CEO of a glazing & construction firm.  

Incorporating her knowledge and experience of finance, customer service, and business process with an organization that values work-life balance and appreciates the hard work and dedication of their staff made the transition to Cummings & CO. Real Estate a great fit. 

Ashley relocated back to Windham, VT, immersed herself in the Southern VT community and enjoyed the incredible outdoor activities that the Green Mountain State has to offer.  Some of Ashley’s favorites include snowshoeing, hiking, skiing, and swimming at Hamilton Falls, when it’s not freezing cold!  

Ashley and her husband currently reside in sunny Florida, in her true happy place by the beach.  When she’s not working and managing the back-end operations for Cummings & CO, she enjoys spending time with family, volunteering, rollerblading and of course, sunsets at the local beach!
